A friend of mine and I were talking one day and said how cool it would be if John Bush sang for Dream Theater, would be a good replacement imo.

I had the pleasure of meeting Joey Vera in Germany during the '98 Fates Warning APSoG tour.

I told him how I'd been a fan for quite sometime, going back to the AS days. He looked taken aback. "Man, people still remember Armored Saint?"

He mentioned at the time that he was talking to John about a reunion. This of course led to 2000's Revelation.

Talk about a down to earth guy. Good times!

This also occurred with VH3. Don't blame Cherone, he's a good vocalist for his genre. EVH just wrote a shit album. It would have sucked no matter what.
