3rd time I've seen them (2x in Atlanta for ProgPowerUSA) and they were great every time.

BUT, that's not what I'm posting about. The reason I'm posting this is.. they came out on stage with chairs and were about to do an acoustic number... when the bassist Mat Sinner said over the mic "Can we get a moment to remember Ronnie James Dio and Paul Gray"

 Wow... did NOT expect him to say Paul Gray. Dio? Sure. Expected. For a power metal band like Primal Fear to have mentioned a band like Slipknot... just goes to show you how much of a 'community' metal really is... unlike EVERY other genre out there. Mad props to Sinner & PF :yesway:

Having never seen PF live (curses!), I must ask. Does Ralf Scheepers sound as much like Halford live as he does on record?

He sounds exactly like he does on record. He hits the high notes perfectly. Although last night he forgot the 2nd verse lyrics to Angel in Black

Dude, Ralf Scheepers' sole purpose in life is trying to out-Halford Rob Halford.
He does out-Halford Halford. Halford can't even do the shit Ralf does. I'm surprised Ralf lost to Tim Owens to replace Halford in Priest... but I'm glad he did, because PF > JP imo.
