The maple fretboard on my Agile Intrepid 727 seems to feel dry alot. I've used guitar honey on it, but I was wondering if there might be something specific that's good for maple?

Lately, I've just been using Finger ease alot to make it feel slicker.

Thanks.

I would stop using guitar honey first, because thats bound to stain your fretboard at some point . It shouldnt need much. Is it unfinished?

You don't need to moisten maple. It doesn't have open pores like rosewood.

Agile finishes their maple boards. Not sure with what, but I believe it's satin poly. No need to do anything other than wipe it down with a damp cloth every now and then. Fret Dr. is great, but it will stain unfinished maple.

Take a dab of polish on a cloth and wipe it down next time you restring, if the feeling has changed, odds are something has built up there

Yeah just standard polish, not lemon oil or anything.
