Why would I not want to actually PLAY my collection? The idea of things just sitting on the shelf just to have them sucks IMO. I collect games that I like to play, and of course the physical medium provides the nostalic fun.If you're a collector, then put your vintage consoles in pretty glass cases and run emulators on a computer for actual playing. The 3D consoles will usually look better running on modern PC hardware, anyway. Plus, the "save state" option is great to have.
