more meedly meedly les, chugga chugga.

:D

kind of like, down with homework, up with mini skirts. except more like down with breakdowns, up with sweepy sweepy
Yeah, overall our new stuff is more melodic, more varied, more shreddy. Though we definitely have a couple of breakdown-ish parts, we keep them short and minimal. We have some familiar sounding stuff, we're aware people are going to say "That part sounds like Meshuggah" or "That part sounds like After The Burial" since we're playing 8-strings and have a bit of influence from both of those bands, but we try to use those influences in unusual ways.

So, if you hear riffs in this video that sound "typical", they're crammed between riffs that will hopefully be completely unexpected  We love crazy, technical music, but we're suckers for catchy, groovy stuff that we, and the crowd, can get moving to, and we're trying to find the balance

Looking forward to new material, I like the sound of things going a bit more melodic and groovy.

Wirelessly posted (Samsung-SPHM500 AU-OBIGO/Q04C1-1.17_PRE_1 MMP/2.0)

Thanks man, just played our first show with our new singer tonight in Ottawa. Went really well and the new song we tried out was so fun to play and people seemed to dig it.
