I've still got the original pickguard, and after seeing some pics of stock ones recently I realise how much I dig that colour scheme...

That original pic isn't mine... I never actually used mine with the stock Dimarzios. In fact, this is what I did to mine when I first got it...

If I were to put the original pickguard back on, I think I'd go with all black Duncans, not sure...

I was all for keeping the original PG when you originally suggested changing it but I do think it looks better with the white, it's a nice contrast to the black hardware imo.

The white pickguard differentiate it from the common stock model, makes it unique and as looks as good as the black one, me thinks.

If we're talking aesthetics only, I prefer the white pickguard - my one nitpick is the cream bobbin in the bridge hummer. I think if that bridge pup was double white bobbins, that would be perfect.

But this is just me.

I voted stock with black Duncans, but I think a Black H-S with black pickups would look better.
