Been meaning to record this for ages and finally got round to it today. I only had time for first takes, so it could be tighter, but I'm pretty happy with it otherwise!

Hahaha, entirely fair play - I can definitely get why people wouldn't dig ALIASES. I think the first time I heard this tune I wasn't entirely sold until that section which properly kicks in at around 2m55s, which is just the right blend of groove and technicality to get me interested! Also, it's worth listening to the proper mix of the song - I always have to mix my guitars slightly higher than I'd like so as to avoid the incessant stream of YouTube morons whose vocabulary stretches to an extraordinarily impressive two (monosyllabic) words: "fake" and "lol". There's some extremely tasty drumming in this track.

Also, you are one unassuming looking metalhead. :lol:

Haha, to be fair, I looked like this for the better part of 4 years - been there, done that!
