Both fair points, though in the case of the first one, having worked in retail, Line6 should be sending them out a credit, or giving them a discount on stock of the new models so they can blow out the old series. But the second option's more likely.

Things havent been going that way (at least not in guitar/acc retail) for a year or two now :/
