This was going to be harvested for the neck and hardware.
But I cannot chop this axe up.
So I will give it some T.L.C and nurse it back to health.
A Vester concert series.
I have no idea what it is made from.
I think it was made in Japan in the 1980's.
And I think it will kick ass when reconditioned. :yesway:

For some reason, I love black, HSS, Soloist type guitars.

I'd love to pick up a dirt-cheap pawn shop guitar that needs some love, and nurse it back to health

It was sitting in the miranda music workshop.
Right at the back, next to the mammoth fossil.
It sat on the floor for 10 years.
I mentioned I was looking for a donor guitar for a c.b.g project.
He bolted upstairs and bought it down.
By the time I got home I knew it was to good to chop up.
After sitting with it for 20 minutes I could see potential in a refit.

A little snooping reveals it is a neck through guitar.
So it is getting a full refit and refinish.
I used to drool over some of the Vester guitars in the 80,s when I was a punk ass kid with no money.
Only thing that has changed is I am 20 years older.
And I scored a vester finally.

I LOVE getting other peoples trash and seeing what can be done with it.
I will post updates as I fix her up.
And it is my 1st guitar with shark tooth inlays.

The guitar has been named "The fix". :metal:
