Just bought the fiance one of these, used at GC for $125:

Welcome to Gallien-Krueger: Power to Groove

It should sound better than the MosValve 500 she's playing through now

Any issues I need to worry about? I test drove it for about 20m, and all the pots were fine. The cab they had was pretty awesome, an old Mesa bass cab, 4x8 1x12. She's currently using a Sonic 2x10, so this should make it a nice little mini-rig :yesway:

She's learning. I tried teaching her, but she was a music major for a few years in college, and reads notes and shit. So, I also bought her a bass book with notes and shit

The Backline 600 is a very solid amp. If all the knobs and buttons work and there's no excessive hum, you should be fine. I've seen those things fall off of 8x10s and still keep on working.

The Backline cabs, not so much. But you will get some great mileage out of it.

I have a backloine 110 (The 70watt combo version), and I think it's a solid bass amp. I've been looking to upgrade, but only because it can't keep up without a PA in a band setting (you have to hit hard as shit... especially on fretless). But the actual tone is great for what it is.
