Well, we have several threads scattered over the board, so I figured it would be nice to have everything compiled into one.

Of course Matt's Music is kind enough to share his photos at:

Peavey is releasing some cool stuff

ReValver MK III.V!!!

Renowned Guitar Amp Manufacturer Peavey Announces New ReValver MK III.V Amplifier Modeling Software at this years NAMM.
Developed by veteran tube-amp maker Peavey Electronics, ReValver is a revolutionary amplifier modeling software that captures the true characteristics of vacuum tubes while allowing users unprecedented control over their tonality, configuration, tube types, and gain structures.
Peavey ReValver MK III.V features the debut of 21 new amp models, including the Peavey 3120, Peavey Masterpiece, Peavey Sensation, Budda Superdrive II, and Budda Superdrive V Series.

New effects models in ReValver MK III.V are the classic Peavey VCL-2 tube compressor, the Budda Budwah expression pedal, and the Gate Keeper, a tube-based noise gate. All of the amp models, effects models and deep editing popularized by ReValver MK III are also available in MK III.V.
ReValver utilizes exclusive Peavey algorithms that analyze the interactions of the amps' components at the circuit level, based on the original schematics and is able to model every nuance of tube amplifiers with unprecedented accuracy.
ReValver MK III.V features a robust stompbox and effects section, including various types of chorus, distortion, wah, tremolo, compression, limiters, delays, octaver and much more.

Its convolution reverb allows for very complex and smooth reverbs, including sampled spring reverb, and allows users to import their own impulse responses.

MK III.V now boasts improved runtime performance on both the operating system and host level, with a focus on upgraded Pro Tools support.
Readers of Guitar Player magazine voted ReValver MK III amplifier-modeling software as the Best Home Studio Gear of 2009 in its annual Readers' Choice Awards and the software also won a Premier Gear Award from Premier Guitar magazine and Platinum and Value Awards from Future Music magazine.

Interesting. I wonder how "authentic" the new Budda sims are in Revalver. If I can get a reasonable approximation of my SD30 recorded via software...

Also, that's cool that Composite Acoustics is back!

What happened to the 3120? Is that the re-branded XXX and now we have the XXX-II as a re-branded JSX? That's just flat-out confusing.
Exactly, Peavey's out of their minds. Should have been renamed the 3120+, IMO.

I can't believe Roland isn't introducing a new GT-series processor. :noplease:

Whoa... and Peavey bought Composite Acoustics? Nice! I hope they're still going to do the solidbody one.

Can't wait for the "JSX sounds better than the XXX-II" arguments, still battling the 5150>6505 idiocy. Peavey need to stop doing this shit!

FUCK. :scream:
:agreed: I've got GAS!!!!

I say good luck to them.
Me too! I don't think a Digitech stack is going to go over too well. It may not be bad, it's rocking KT88s! But its pretty ugly, they should have gave it a better name, and the logos look bad.

More Gain, Bright, Crunch/Normal switches
Controls: Normal, Overdrive,
Treble, Mid, Bass, Normal Master,

5x EC C83S preamp tubes
At the $2400 price point why buy a SLO when you can buy a Digitech?:noplease:
