Nice! To me, you've got to have a 35" scale if you want the low B to be very useful.

While I disagree, and love my 34"-scale Jazz Bass V, and the sound of its low-B, I'm more of a raw-sounding bass fan with more than a little bit of punk-rock in me :lol: that's a beautiful bass, and 35"-scale definitely sounds great for low-B clarity and punch. Looks like a nice thick body too.

Thanks guys!! My band tunes C# standard on 6's so I have to tune my bass to G# C# F# B E. My 34" Ibanez that I sold was too floppy and notes would decay too fast.

Another thing, I thought Alder would be a little heavier. The body seems really light!
