I have an Ibanez GIO starter guitar that I have recently decided to take apart completely. For specs, I'm not really sure. It has a basswood body and is a H-S-S set up. I'm surprised by the fact that it doesn't sound terrible for being a $100 guitar that was free. On to my question...
Basically, I want to replace the neck with one that is angled, instead of the stock one that is straight. I planned on sculpting the heel so that it's not a massive square block in my hand. Is this possible? I figured it wasn't too adventurous and I thought it would make a sweet project/picstory.
