Need opinion on hollow body

So I am planing to order an 8 string hollow body guitar. Specs will be based on LA Valenzia Benedetto guitar. So it will have one neck pickups that will be mounted on a neck or pickguard.

The question that I have to you guys:

The scale

I am planing to use 13-56 +65 +75(or 80) D'addario flatwounds on it. I am now somewhere between 25" and 26". What do you think about it? I need a acoustic tone first, coz I'll recording the baby acoustically.

The pickup

Anyone know custom shop that can make a pickup for it?
