what size do I need to open the holes up to for graph tech ratio tuners and what's the right way to do this? I bought fancy new tuners to put on a cheap epiphone SG thinking there's no way it would have vintage style tuning pegs being that its a 2019 model. I was dead wrong lol.

anywho, the holes are too narrow for the tuning pegs to fit up into. do I just grab the right size drill bit(what size even?) and try drilling it out? or maybe use a reamer? anyone had to do this or have any tips to share?

man i was so excited to try that string butler thing. I bought one of those and a graph tech nut to put on as well.

I had great success taking it slowly with a Bosch IXO cordless screwdriver and a countersink bit of the right diameter as recommended in German guitar mags. Not seen this tip from English-language sources yet.
