Are they even worth that, though? I like the idea of a 20 second Looper for $99, but feel that the rest of the setup will just be extraneous because I won't like any of it.

At that point a Ditto would probably make more sense, if you wanted the looper.

I was thinking of getting one to put my Alesis ION through, but I haven't pulled the trigger on it. Chorus, wah, delay, distortions...I don't have any of that on my synths at the moment.
