Never been a big fan of these guys.

But this was delightfully fucking good.
The intro plods on a bit too long before the first verse kicks in, but then it's just high energy fast rock with... good vocals? Imagine that!

The overall production sounds great too.
The only thing that I think could have been better, was if Duff has a more prominent clanky bass tone like the old stuff.


However the lyric video isn't amazing.
A more fitting video would have been Axl being all coked up on repeat like here from 0:26 and forward:

Meh. It's ok. They were right to drop it from the record. It's not much different than what was out during that time (except the productions sounds better than most here).

Slash blazing on here is the golden aspect of this song.

Oh, I'm apparently unaware of that this was a old song. :ugh:

""Shadow of Your Love", a song by American rock band Hollywood Rose from the album The Roots of Guns N' Roses, later a Guns N' Roses song released as a single in 2018."


While I dig the more punk like production of the original, Axl actually sounds better on the new version.
