Would tap, it's just that she's an expensive lay.
That looks classy.

I see it has 24 frets; not playing a grown ups guitar anymore I suppose?
All Guthrrie's signature guitars have 24 frets.
...Basswood?
Ooooh, pretty!

Interesting that he went with basswood rather than mahogany...
I'm a little confused at the basswood myself
He played a bunch of Suhrs and liked the basswood ones. John Suhr considers that wood combination the Holy Grail of tone.
I don't get Basswood hate at all. It's not bad, it's just another wood. If you don't like it, fair enough - that doesn't make it shit.
I think the basswood hate comes from a combination of it's boring looks, in expensive price and it's use on cheap guitars. I thought it was strange seeing it in his sig because in a video of him demonstrating some Suhrs he goes on about how great mahogany is.
TOO EXPENSIVE BLAND GUITAR ASSWOOD NEEDS REWIND JB BKP H8

Steel has high tensile strenth. It is an AWESOME building material.

Would you now find it strange for me to opt for aluminum or bricks when building something?
[action=ohio_eric]was almost positive Dave was going to be the one to shit all over basswood.[/action]
I'm surprised at how well the basswood takes to the translucent finish. Looks sexy and I bet it sounds even sexier. :yum:
The top is maple. :D

Ah, makes sense. I missed that part.

Still a great looking guitar.
What? So because he says he likes mahogany it means he can't own a guitar made from another wood?

That guitar is damn sexy :scream:
