Sonimus - TuCo

$79 regular price. I've used their Satson channel sim for a long time now, and had bought but never got around to installing (until last night, lol) their Britson channel strip sim as well. Both are pretty cheap, but do seem to be pretty effective as a way to help subtly "glue" a mix together, though the main reason I've used it is for some reason I find myself REALLY liking its high-pass and low-pass filter.

I have zero experience with the TuCo compressor - I saw the email late last night right before bed (I think they're an eastern european company) and hpped on my computer long enough to download, install, and register the thing, and then quickly tossed it on a clean toned guitar track I had open in my DAW for a 30-second push the limits test. It can definitely do subtle, and it can DEFINITELY be driven into glorious crunchy shittiness, which sometimes is a nice option.

But, I'm an advocate of having a bunch of flavors of compression on hand for when you want some "color," and for $50 this one's a pretty cheap purchase from a company I've found myself liking in the past.

Nice. Definitely a cool compressor, it's not my go-to but it still gets used often enough on projects, two years down the road. :yesway:
