Well, the 3-tone sunburst has gone to a loving home just up the highway and Liz is home! She got dropped off at work, and somehow I managed to stick around another 2 and a half hours after that!

Bought from forumite at guitarscanada, absolute stand-up gentleman who held the guitar for me, helped me advertise my sale and sold me a 10/10 guitar.

I unboxed it at work, and everyone thought it was brand new ;)

Anyway, on to the details (that I know of)

- 2011 PRS Artist V in Eriza Verde

"Features

Fretboard Wood: Ebony with Mother of Pearl Purfling

Hardware/Electronics

Initial thoughts are the neck definitely feels a little different then my wide-thin standing up, but a strap adjustment seems to have that fairly sorted. I do miss the split pickup sounds on my Custom 22, but positions 2 and 4 sound good. I haven't spent a ton of time playing it yet, but after this post that's exactly what I'm going to do.

And then, I'm going to stare at it

I have not put this thing down. It is a change from the custom 22 (I think the body might be a *touch* thicker?) but once it's at the right height it's a party. Plays great sitting down as well.

Once I put manlier strings I'll give it a proper pick-like-a-man treatment and then we should be set!

I also want to add that it sounds *really* nice with the volume turned down. Still not used to the position of the 5-way either

Ya man.

It will hopefully sound good in the studio at the end of the month!

It'll probably sound like a total plank, so let's make a trade. Two of my Jazz IIIs for your PRS. And those picks, like, totally mean a lot to me, so I'm kind of cutting you a deal there.

And the plot thickens.

I also want Darren to take 'er for a spin, because he plays stuff I don't.
