Specs:

Swamp Ash Body
Flame Maple Top w/Matching Headstock in Cali Aqua Burst
Reverse Headstock
Black limba neck w/ 2 maple strips
Tung Oil Finish on neck
SS med jumbo frets
Zebra wood fretboard
No Inlays
New Kiesel Pickups
2 volume knobs and no tone knob

This is my 2nd DC800, and I am in love with this one. I am very happy the way the top came out on this one. It basically has wings by the bridge. Wanna give a big shout out to Chris Hong from Kiesel Guitars for helping me get this ordered. It took about 2 months from ordering to completion.

I love the new passive kiesel pickups. They are super tight and clear and a lot better than the actives I had in my other DC800. They are great for both lead and rhythms. They also handle drop E very well. The tung oil neck is also great. I had gloss (dunno wtf I was thinking) on my last DC800. I also got carvin to replace the tone knob with another volume knob because I dont use the tone and like 2 volumes. This guitar is pretty much perfect; I dont have to change a thing about it at all.

Also I like this guitar; im sure some of you dont like the top, dont like where or how I took the pictures, dont like that it is 8 string ( I dont just play djent with it, I like using it for actual chords,) or just dont like me in general. So if you dont like it :dgaf:

PS: I will make the pictures small so my NGD doesnt turn into a bitch fit about pictures.

Shit man that's really nice.:yesway:
I'm going to say it's okay to make the pictures bigger. That looks fantastic man. That must have been one awesome NGD.
Thanks!

Thanks bro! Well last time I had a NGD people were having issues loading the pics (honestly they were really big) so I made them smaller.
That is killer. I don't usually like burst finishes, or figured tops for that matter, but when I do, they look like that.
Sweet :) You need a pic of it at a bbq, and possibly another of it frolicking in the waves with some bikini girls and your set will be complete.
Gorgeous guitar! I agree with you and love those 'wings' in the top. I love it when that happens.

The backdrop isn't too shabby either. Looks just a tad better than grimy old East London.
Nice top.
That's awesome, man! :metal:
Was wondering about those pickups too. Been contemplating a DC7X and was going to get Kiesel pickups.
Very nice Lucas. Chrome hardware really works on that.
I like the way the Kiesel pickups contrast the Kiesel treated top, and the Kiesel back is especially nice. How do the Kiesel tuners stay in tune? Are they Kiesel enough? :D

Seriously though, awesome guitar, man. Looks fantastic.
Nice top.
Thanks Drew!

I really like these picks. I am a BKP fan boy but im keeping these. They sound just like I want: very clear and smooth.

Thanks Teddy! I usually dont like chrome or bright colors but I figured it would work well with the aqua.

WELL thanks sir. I actually have Kiesel hair and blood fused into the finish to give it extra mojo.

I'm only making the joke because (as you may have seen) Jeff Kiesel seems to go on a lot about "Kiesel this, Kiesel that" and it's kinda funny.

They're awesome guitars though. I've not bought and returned one for awhile, but they appear to have stepped up their game.

Yeah he does throw his last name around a lot. They are really upped it with their guitars in the last year. Im pretty sure this all happened when Jeff's dad let him take over more stuff.
Not anything I'd personally order, but that does look very nice! Congrats.

Well then I guess he's entitled to throw it around, since he's improved things!

How's that zebra wood fretboard feel?

Pretty good. It is closer to rosewood than maple. It has some grain action going on.
