Never thought I'd have an original one of these. The 540PII was only sold in Japan and Europe in 1990-1991 (I believe) so years before internet commerce was happening and couldn't get one at the time. Has the infamous Ibanez neck joint cracks and the back of the neck is bare wood (which is always a nice thing if you don't like the stuff that gets put on the back of necks). The amount of single coil/humbucker guitars in my collection has increased greatly, to be sure, but it's such a nice combo. Not the original bridge pup and was ready to switch it out for my beloved DiMarzio Tone Zone but the Duncan that is in there sounds really nice through my rig so I may leave it in for now.

I always feel like I am looking at those upside down and then I get vertigo. That being said, that thing is a pretty sweet find and I love the hum/single pickup config.
