Adding one more to the herd of early 90s Ibby RGs. Picked this up off Craigslist for a decent price.

The guy moved the volume knob and did some artwork on the back plates. Its also pretty grimey but after some cleaning and a new pick guard it will be in awesome shape.

Great "acoustic" tone and the neck is straight as an arrow.

I have officially dubbed this guitar "Sharon" in loving memory of her (see backplate).

Very nice indeed! That's a really pretty shade of blue, and maple boards are indeed awesome!:yesway:

That looks like the stock location for the volume pot... those holes are too small for a pot shaft to fit through. My guess is somebody had mini-switches in there at some point.
Could be. I havent actually compared it to my others since its at work with me, but I just assumed he moved the pot.

The two small holes look like he tried to drill through the guard, hit wood, and then moved it a bit until he got all the way through.

You can try them, but I'd probably want to send in the original pickguard so they can copy it exactly, no weird screw hole placement and the also to check the placement of the volume pot.
*I haven't had any experience with them so take with a grain of salt.
There used to be a seller on ebay, fairly cheap, can't find him anymore

Oh also, WHITE PICKUPS!
