The finish on that is cool. I have a Rhoads that has that same type of paint but it goes gold-blue-purple.

"Dad rock" for me is The Mamas and the Papas, The Beatles, and stuff like that. "Alternative dad rock" doesn't exist in my universe because alternative rock didn't exist back then. :lol:

Kind of an ambiguous and bizarre term. :lol:

presumably what is considered "dad rock" would evolve as new Dad's come into the scene.

I would argue that Pearl Jam, AIC, Soundgarden etc. is all getting into the realm of dad rock, especially now that those are all staples of some of the "classic rock" stations in my area.

I feel like dad rock is basically whatever "mainstream" music that middle aged dudes are listening to en masse.

I'd go as far as AC/Dc. This reminds me more of Staind, which it's terrifying to me that anyone who listened to Staind could be a dad.

Anyway, this is pretty cool - I like the riffing. :yesway:
