Thought I'd post on the new Desu Ex: Human Revolution trailer because, well, this is how it should be done IMO. Epic.

Deus Ex 1 still ranks as my absolute favorite game of all time, it always will, and I can't say I've had very high hopes for this new one after being disappointed with the direction they took for Deus Ex 2...but this has certainly got me hyped.

I just saw this trailer earlier today when a friend from another video game company sent it to me. Loved the first Deus Ex game. I'll definitely be checking this out. :yesway: And the trailer was just done really well.

the first one was fucking amazing, I have very high hopes for this.

Woah, that looks incredible. The first one was really an amazing game, even more amazing and (comparatively) timeless considering how old it is now. This one reminds me of MGS4 somehow, like the darker, more urban side of the conspiracy coin. EDIT: And with an equally amazing story from the looks of it, that trailer was really amazingly cinematic. I want to see more of this kind of thing in games :yesway:

Also, is it just me or does the lead guys voice sound remarkably similar to Paul Denton in the first game? If it is Paul then excuse this as my retard

Paul Denton didn't have mechanical augmentations like this guy (sounds to me like the narrator is the dude in the video).

Looks like a cool game. I loved Deus Ex, and it looks like this could be great as well.

The first deus ex was amazing. I'm really looking forward to this one. Lets see if they manage to rape the series or reel it back from the precipice of ill-repute.

For same weird reason (and I'm showing my age here) but that splendorous preview reminded me of Syndicate Wars.

I didn't think it was Paul, but my powers of obseration have been off a touch lately, so there was the possibility i missed it

Also, Square-Enix? Coupled with Eidos, that will be awesome. I'm pretty pumped for this now :D

:agreed: If they can keep it with the same kind of level design/gameplay style of the first (but updated, obviously) then I really do think it will be amazing. Sort of like the first one, but with elements in a similar vein to Metal Gear Solid and Final FAntasy thrown in for good measure :metal:
