Been looking for a cab to leave at the practice room so I don't have to take two cabs to practice, as I don't want to leave both of my Zilla's there, and our other guitarist doesn't wanna leave his only cab there, which is a Mesa OS 412. This came up for sale locally for a massive £80. It's beaten in a few places, but fully functional and sounds pretty badass. It's an MF400, so loaded with K100's which are WELL broken in. Thinking about swapping a pair for V30's or something similar, but we'll see how I get along with it. These go for about £300-350 used, so don't think I did too badly. Keeping this one quiet from the missus, as she'll fucking kill me

Nice.

Not long ago I had the same thought, "Fuck hauling a cab to/from the practice space!" I bought a used Peavey cab for ~$100, loaded with Sheffields. Once I tore them out (lol), I put in a pair of V30's and a pair of Eminence Wizards in an X pattern, and a new jack plate so that I could plug into either, or both.

Nice!

The problem I have is that the place I practice refuses to store gear yet charges £15 p/a for some Marshall MG cab. :ugh:
Fuck that :ugh:
