So I saw this pop up in a pawn store and the price and the fact it's an EF mount was too good to pass up. Clicked the buy button and picked it up today. I was stoked to open it up and find there was also a Sandisk 480GB SSD in there saving me about $300-$400 and meaning I can hold about 2.5-3 hours of shooting before having to dump. Now I'm gonna like up a chunk of bands and shoot some video clips for practice before focussing on some personal projects I have in mind.

Had a play with it last night and it is sweet. Only issue is that my 24-70L lens doesn't communicate with the body so no iris control or autofocus. Meh, was looking at upgrading to the LII at some point and this may be the excuse I need.

Only problem is the fact that it burns through 400GB of disk space for about 3 hours of shooting. Time to invest in an external thunderbolt hard drive.
