Cab suggestion's Please?

So, I ended up getting a Peavey XXL head. ( i figured it was alright, to start another thread.)

I'm looking for cab/speaker suggestions. I play death metal, looking for a Dying Fetus, Despised Icon, modern Cannibal Corpse type tone. I was thinking maybe a 5150 cab?

on another note, I need one of the chrome knobs for the head. Anyone know where i can get one?

The XXL has selectable switch for whatever ohm you want on the back, so does it matter or affect the sound quality whats ohms a cab is?

I play metal, and regardless of my head/rack combo, have always gone with a Mesa 412.

You want to match those ohms correctly.

Yes I know that. But, with my head having the selectable OHMs option, does it matter what ohm the cab is since i can select whichever one i need on the head? Like, will a 16ohm head/cab sound different than a 8ohm head/cab?

Would a Crate 4x12 with Celestions be a good choice? I think Mesa's are gonna be abit more than I want to spend.

speakers with different impedances do sound different but if you run lots of distortion the minute differences will probably be lost

Well, I ended up buying a Peavey 5150 2x12, i finally found one . I sold the XXL to my buddy.

Indeed! I use to have one, but sold it. And then I found this one in mint condition.
