Hey guys, I am in the process of getting rg 7 body made and i was wanting to do a TOM bridge. This is Ibanez aanj so the ibanez neck will fit, my question is, will i have any problem using the TOM bridge withOUT the recessed route for it? I'm refering to height issues here.

You will likely need a recess, as the bridge will be far too high with a standard Ibanez neck. You can get around this with shims, of course.

ah
you could always have the neck joint cut in the new body with the angle

You'd need an angle routed in the neck pocket to give you the necessary angle.

I love TOMs, so if Sims can do that, I'd totally consider going for one.

If the body is being custom-made, just have the builder angle the neck pocket by a couple of degrees.

it would just end up costing me more money and it would arbitrary estimates because the body is just being cnc'ed and the guy doesnt have a tom7 bridge anyway.

for simplicity sake i'm gonna do the hipshot. I'l just have to figure out how to place it
