Hi guys. I've got an old 80's Platinum Warlock in the basement, which needs a new bridge. I don't think, that It's an original Floyd Rose. Anyone who knows, where I could get a replacement one?

I think I see a Floyd Rose licensing mention on the bass side, so my guess would be that it's just an 'in house' BC Rich copy of an "original" (as in, no fine tuners) Floyd Rose? Is it the guitar recessed underneath where that came from?

It's not recessed. It's a model, like the one here:
is popular for but there's a million companies making similar. The Wilkinson I linked is a pretty good example, in that they have one arced and one flat 'knife edge', so that they can work with a variety of stud spacings; you'll see that same setup on other aftermarket bridges in the style you should be after.

How are the 80s platinum series? Do they compare to the NJs or are they more like the Bronze series?

There's a local guy selling an 80s Platinum Warlock that needs some cleanup. Thought it might be a fun project guitar and something to experiment with to learn how to tinker with them better as I don't want to experiment on my Sabers. He's asking $200 and it's an awful color, so I've been toying with offering him $100 and just repainting it... but if it's really no better than a bronze, then it's a waste of money.

Back on topic (sorry to jack your thread), is it worth it to just take yours to a luthier and have your favorite trem installed? Doubt a little routing work would degrade it as much as a quality trem would upgrade it.
