I think the call should have been made right. Going forward I think each team gets a single replay each game. If the manager choose to use it on that particular play than so be it.

Clearly you know nothing about baseball. They already have replays albeit homeruns only. Everyone was bitching about that. Guess what? It has worked flawlessly. The umpire made the call he saw. Not every call will be right but they are way more right than wrong. Also its umpires not refs just like its runs not points

Like keith said a lot has changed. As it should. Also that ump is like 50 and looked fine. :noway:
I didnt dude:lol:

I'm saying that you cant change something like a bat, something that is gonna make a HUGE differance. Or like a replay, that is gonna make a HUGE differance.

And keith, SURE alot has changed, some things are gonna here and there. It was gonna take awhile to settle on alot of details like that, but replays are gonna completely change the game. I think it would be better, but IMO, if you start doing replays, its not fair to keep the records in the same context against years and years of players that didnt have that.

And sure its not the same as it used to be. Players have it down to a science, and practice everyday all the time. But somethings are just gonna change no matter what you do.

I think the moral of the story is to perhapse rely on the refs. And if you have 80 year old men that make the wrong call, then you gotta get rid of them and get someone that can actually see that isnt practically at death door to make the calls

Lastly, I guess its just me apperently:lol:, but for a game that prides itself on timeless tradition, it seems strange that all the fans seem to like this idea. I think it underminds the ideals of the game.
