Well, Galarraga got a Corvette out of the deal, and once we have instant replay he'll make millions with his book deal. I can see it now. "28 Up, 28 Down: The Game That Modernized Baseball," by Armando Galarraga (with Rick Reilly). It'll be full of pity insight and jokes about teeth.
Then, uh, why did you? Bats and replays are apples and oranges. One's a miscarriage of justice that leaves results of games in doubt due to human error, the other's a bush-league equipment upgrade that makes baseball more dangerous and replaces a satisfying CRACK of a home run with the horrific CLANK of a ground rule double :lol:
