Already been mentioned. I find it strange how many people are talking about the "look."

I'm more worried about the "sound."

I wonder, would it be possible to wire up a bypass for the active preamp without using a separate output jack? That way you could have a low-output set and a burner switch to turn on the active preamp and send them into Crazy Mode.

Already been discussed in the other thread, and Frank Falbo contributed a response.

I will try it with my q-tuners. Actives have rail magnets/poles.
Maybe different kind of windings will have different dynamics.I dunno, worth trying!
