So I ordered a 7 string rico jr awhile ago and wanted to share the specs and excitment (-:

These are the ones I've sent to bernie:

Top Wood Selection: - Awesome brownish nicely figured burl maple top.

Cool! When did you order it? I know Bernie's swamped with orders right now. (I'm waiting on an 828 myself.) Those wood choices and the white binding is going to look incredible!!!

I agree, the binding and the burl will look stunning.
I like that you chosed to go for an all wood-style guitar too, less plastic is the way to go :yesway:

Yeah I really liked the BM vibe with that completely wooden-natural look with exotic woods,
but I also wanted a tremolo and ended up adding a piezo system too.

I'm actually thinking about changing the ebony board to rosewood, what do you think?

Looks cool so far. Do you have a price yet? I can tell yo the hipshot tremolo is a +375$ extra, as I asked before about it (and backed up because of the price :lol:)

The piezo will raise the price another 300$, probably. And if Bernie doesn't have a Burl maple top on stock, it will probably cost a leg as well (I got quoted 350$ extra for an ash body).

I would assume around 4k for this order. Still, a freaking badass guitar.

Well this was part of the black friday sale so it was alot cheaper than you'd think,
that's all I can say.
