The Yankees have no shot this year so at least you have that to get you through the winter.

Isn't the entire Rays' salary combined still less than A-Rod?
What's your point? :roll2:

Boston is not exactly living in poverty either.

1. New York Yankees $206,333,389
2. Boston Red Sox $162,747,333

21. Tampa Bay Rays $71,923,471

Hey, if you sum the Red Sox and Tampa Bay, you almost get the Yankees! :woohoo:

Our team spent the entire season on the DL. The last few games it was like watching Major League. "Who the fuck are these guys?".

I have a soft spot for the Rays. They consistently compete, beat out the Yankees this year with 1/3 the payroll, and yet still nobody shows up to their games.

lol, rockies
Hey I love my Rox. Two of the best hitters in the NL with Cargo(#1) and Tulo(#3). All we need is someone at 2nd, and our injuries at 3rd to be cleared up by next season. And some starting pitching help. Ok, so maybe a lot.

Also Helton, being the awesome player he is, deferred a good portion of his salary so the Rox could spend some more money.

Also:

2 Boston Red Sox $160,913,333

16 Colorado Rockies $83,172,000

And Papplebon is the lamest, gayest human being on earth. His mouth is permanently stuck in cock-sucking position (Just google any picture of him, I am sure they will all be like that).

Well your team still has the second highest payroll in 2010, injuries or not.
:spock:

You Sox fans (not you personally, Chris) act like you're at the same level as the Pirates or Brewers in that you're this poor small market team with no money and no high paid talent on the team, which couldn't be further from the truth. And if fate didn't stick its ugly head out in 2003, Boston would've had A-Rod instead of the Yankees.

With that said, fuck the Yankees.

That's probably why real pirates get laughed at :(

Hahaha, most likely. Also, every really good Pirate gets traded to the U.S. Navy, making them a Yankee or a Mariner.

I honestly HATE the payroll talk. It really makes you look like a tool.

As a BASEBALL fan and a Redsox fan, I think the Redsox did GREAT this year.

For the world series I would like to see Cincy vs Rays. :agreed:

Just incase you Sox fans missed it last night, the Yankees with their bloated payroll had a nice come from behind win to continue their dominance over the Twins in the playoffs.
