I've been thinking about getting one of these instead of a carbon copy.
The Belle Epoch is an Echoplex in a box and I love the repeats that come from tape delays in general but the voicing on it seems to be my favorite. It even comes with the ability to turn on a preamp setup to mimic the preamp on an Echoplex.Wirelessly postedsponge
I love my Carbon Copy, but now I want to check out those tape delays Lopez mentioned
self oscillation is when the device creates its own sound. What do you guys mean by self-oscillate? Like, the delay time varies slightly as you play?
That was my first delay, as everyone uses it and it was recommended to me. It was so... Bland, idk, it just did nothing for me.Wirelessly posteddio
I've got a Carbon Copy, and I'm kinda looking for something else. The controls have no subtlety to them whatsoever, so a quarter spin puts you into a swamp. It does fat and warm really well, but I live in the absolute bottom fourth of each knob.
Man, it's been a really long time since pedals got my GAS going, but just about everything I hear from EQD has me drooling and fighting my hands from reaching into my wallet.
Uh.....okay.
Yup, the TC doesn't do that, but the Line6 DL4 does.
That's just a little too "Muse-ish" to for me.Yup, the TC doesn't do that, but the Line6 DL4 does.
None of the Flashback's stock selections self-oscillate, but two of the toneprints do, IIRC. I didn't care for either of them though.Yup, the TC doesn't do that, but the Line6 DL4 does.
