...and it was awesome.

WHW were quite good (and psychotically loud), with a nice selection of newer stuff and a killer version of "Of Empires Forlorn" - and "Saturn and Sacrifice". Videos courtesy of the tireless Metal Chris from DC Heavy Metal:


Primordial exceeded my expectations, and then some. Alan is easily among the most awesome frontmen in metal, and their set was tense, dark, and brooding, like an epic battle taking place in a raging thunderstorm:


Those of you who are in Atlanta are in for a treat - these guys are going to scare the crap out of about half that audience. :lol:

I was seriously waiting for the dude from Primordial to just tear someone's head off and start gnawing on their neck.

That Aguilar bass amp everyone played through sounded out-fucking-standing. :metal:

Primordial are just stupidly good live!:metal:

Saw them a few months ago and can't wait to see them again next time they pass through London.
