I like it :yesway: Singer (you?) has a great voice.

Mix is a little dry, but not bad, just needs some more reverb to give it some energy and "live"ness, if that makes any sense :lol: Especially the drums could use a nice big room reverb and vocals could use a big hall or something, with some well-placed delay in parts.

Song-wise, it's pretty solid :yesway:

^Oh no, you like it, that means everyone else will hate it haha! That's okay we have pretty similar tastes it seems.

Nope not me, yeah he does have a good voice, pretty much developed over the time when we were writing songs. I've been pretty impressed on how it turned out considering he used to do a lot of really hippy James Taylorish stuff. It's just me and him, I would do back up vocals, but I can't sing for shit :lol:.

Yeah I agree it's really dry , there is a bit of reverb and distortion on the vocals, but not much else. I somewhat like it like that at least for the vocals because I think you loose a bit of the detail with a lot of reverb. But the drums definitely.

Yeah, the vocals don't need much, mainly some delay on a couple of phrases where there's a pause after might help those parts punch a bit, little things like that.

I like it a lot as well. However, i really like dry mixes.

I'd like to hear a lot more bass and a bit more of the layered guitar melodies in the mix. The drums are nice and punchy. The vocals sound fantastic.

I think it's a good mix. The crash cymbals sound like breaking glass, but that's what you get with mp3's unfortunately. I thought the balance between instruments was nice. I agree that a little more verb might be a good thing but that's up to you. Good tune, good mix.

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like Sahni. We really tried to make things vocal centric, which was a pretty long writing process to get everything to fit right. I'll see if we can wet up the mix a tad bit, that seems to be the most common crit.

:lol: I'm glad no one thinks it sucks ass haha... I gave our full CD to a girl the other day and was a bit worried that she might think it flat out blew and that I was crazy . She still might, you never know haha.
