This is cool but makes me a little sad at the same time. I'm going to miss the shuttle program. I'm always amazed at how low-tech some of these controls look!

That does look fairly low tech. Of course if you've ever seen what the Apollo, Gemini and Mercury astronauts had to use it looks positively Star Trek.

Indeed. The inside of the Gemini VIII capsule looks like a steam engine. You'd want to make sure your affairs are in order before stepping into that thing.
