No way at all. Perfect age in my opinion. I’m an old guy (51) who’s just picking up the guitar again after probably a decade or so of not playing. Basically I’m starting over. If I would have been 19 and just started playing I’d be a beast by now. Smooth sounds brother

if you start today and practice almost everyday, in less than 4 you will be better than 95% of the guitarists, trust me
