CMAT Mods - Custom Guitar Effects for Ultimate Tone

Its a 40 min drive and 30 miles, but i think itll be worth it :D

Ill be working on making these pedals with two other guys- the owner and another worker. Im starting off with thurdays and fridays, and if my work is satisfactory, ill get another day or two. Ill also still be working at the guitar shop on Saturdays, Which has been really busy lately with a lot of amps coming in lately. Im also working on a job for a guy i know where he broke the neck on his guitar. i already glued it back and now im working on the finish. Im making a new nut for it too. :)

So, what does 8 hours shoving resistors, caps, and transistors look like?

Something like this.

over 1200 components. Still not everything in there. :ugh:
working on 20 pedals simultaneously- its like a one person factory.

The work was a little bit of a grind, but they threw about the hardest most boring thing out there first  The guys are cool and can take a joke, and it wasnt a bad experience. Just three guys in a shed building and talking. Got there at nine, started in on the resistors- thankfully, they get their boards done up with the diagram already on it :D

Made a decent wage, and had a decent time. Its work i can get into easily, and the two guys ill be around are pretty funny.
