I've been on a bit of a Steve Lukather trip lately and this is just a prime example of how good he is and how versatile he is. No wonder the guy was/is such a good session player. A very cool player, a very cool person and a real inspiration of a player.

Hopefully he gets over to the UK again sometime soon.

Luke is the man. Not the most technically wow-ing, but man is that guy versatile.

And I would be pretty surprised the the G3 tour didn't add a UK date.

Glen Campbell is a monster player. Read the book The Wrecking Crew to get some good dirt on the LA music scene back in the 60s. Almost every album to come out of that area in the 60s was played by the same handful of studio musicians. Amazing.

Luke is a kick ass duded too. We banter back and forth on Twitter quite often. The guy is funny as hell and can take a joke with the best of them. I compared a photo of him to a photo of Ron Jeremy and he had a field day with it.

Legendary players and really classy guys. I'd love to know their total combined number of recording sessions.
