+1. It gets you in the right ballpark, but perfectly balancing tension among the strings is a pointless endeavor. Getting close is a good idea. Always helpful when detuning and just trying to see how fat you'll have to go to achieve a minimum tension that you know you've liked historically.I find that when i listen to string tension calculators, my strings never feel right. there will be a few too tight or too loose. over the years i'v just had to remember my gauges through trial and error
