I think it's more the mix of Dragonburst+gold hardware that bothers me most, but I'm not a fan of dragonburst in general either.

If it were to have chrome or maybe even black hardware, I think it would look a whole lot less gaudy. But as is. The gold is just way too distracting.

I agree with that. Black hardware would look great. For some reason I really like that finish though.

Too bright for me. Pretty high quality guitar for $1500 though.
