Excellent choice.I owned one of these and regret selling it. I have been on the hunt for another one but finding a clean one affordable has been rather tough.

A buddy of mine that I knew in college had a '79 anniversary T/A, with the disco dash, eagle, the works. It had maybe 60k miles on it. Dude was a stoner, and traded it for a pound of weed after he lost his license for (you guessed it) driving around with a bunch of weed.I owned one of these and regret selling it. I have been on the hunt for another one but finding a clean one affordable has been rather tough.

Mine was a Super Duty 455 with a 4 speed and 390 gear. I sold it just after getting married to buy a house back in `82:noway:Please don't tell me it was the Super Duty with the 455ci V8.![]()
Awww, man. Those things were just awesome. That was my first dream car as a kid, and I had pictures of the Smokey and the Bandit car all over my walls.Mine was a Super Duty 455 with a 4 speed and 390 gear. I sold it just after getting married to buy a house back in `82:noway:
My old car is actually for sale out in Mokena Illinois right now, but the owner wants $85K for it. Talk about appreciation...I sold for $4500 back in `82:rant:
