Holy goddamn motherfucking cunt of a shit these are good. Was with my homeslice spud today who was buying his first seven, saw that, ripped through a new Bogner KT88 (which is fucking awful, FYI) but maaaaaan, these are so good. Heavy, but super duper bright and responsive. And cheap too - they completely outshone anything else under the £1400 mark I could find in the shop. Next thing as toneful and resonant as this was a Suhr. mental.

I haven't checked out a Torero yet but I have owned a few SE models now and they have all been great. The only issue I have with this model is that it runs @ $1K USD which is pretty pricey based on the specs IMO. The OFR and EMGs aren't THAT expensive! :lol: I definitely want to check one out sometime though as it does seem like a fairly different SE compared to the rest of the line.

...and would have given a PRS 7 just like every other seven string on the market. IT'd basically be a Hellraiser OFR at that point - I'd rather see them do something that doesn't already exist.

This. I'd rather have something "PRS-y" as a seven than something more akin to a Jackson, ESP, or Schecter offering.

You tools have actually given me the SE bug as well. I think I want an Ebony boarded Allender, in addition to the purple one, and I am definitely eyeballing 513's with renewed interest.

Well going on the absolute cost of things it's expensive here as well, but what sort of price do you put on a good cut of wood, and a well assembled guitar?

I don't like OFR's, I'm not particularly partial to PRS, set tenons or EMG's, but for the price, there is nothing else to touch this guitar, is what I was saying. It's the overall feel of the thing, the sound, how solid it felt in my hand.
