I checked it out. Its basically all presets which is kinda lame(but also the point). I used it on vocals, guitar, bass and a kick. It sounded best on the vocals and kick. i didn't notice any goodness on the guitar and it actually made the bass sound crappy. All in all, its a pretty decent plug that i'm sure i'll get some use out of. I think they have a demo to try if you wanna check it out.

Yeah, it's no worse than people using the Waves plugins and just slapping it on one of the stock presets (read: everybody  ).
Hey, I resemble that remark!

^ I agree, but I can definitely see the usefulness for people that are:

-demoing quickly
-on a tight deadline (especially radio/TV types)
-not interested in learning to mix, but want to get their songs out there until they can afford to pay someone to do it for them.
That would be me. I'm no professional, I just do this for fun. If I can spend a few bucks to make GarageBand sound a little better, than all the better.

Yeah, this is just GarageBand for PC, basically. I don't find it particularly offensive - not particularly useful for me, but if all you want to do is write music and make it sound a little bit more pro when youpass your demos on to someone else, then sure.

We welcome constructive criticism. What do you think Toontrack could do better next time?

well look at that.

The only thing i'd like to see with this plugin would be the ability to change the parameters.

IE: have the presets and then an advanced mode where you can change the presets or make your own. I realize that sort of defeats the point of what you're going for but it would allow other people to use the plug in better.

I'm not really qualified to say, precisely because I'm not the target demographic. The video on your site makes it pretty clear that this is a bunch of one-size-fits-all plugin presets for guys who want to make good sounding music, but don't want to take the time to learn how to mix. Since I enjoy learning how to mix and getting better at it and getting my hands dirty with compression settings and eQ sweeps and whatnot, so to speak, I'm really not the customer this is targeted at.

My dad, on the other hand, would probably dig the shit out of this. He has zero interest in the mechanics of mixing, and just wants to make good-sounding music.
