Two purchases I'm making this week

For the first time in a long time I'm actually going to run pedals in front of my guitar amp. Every clip I've heard of the BB preamp with a Mesa just sounds phenomenal, and I'm looking to push both the vintage and modern modes on the Triaxis and see what it can do with a boost and/or warm OD in front. I was deciding between that and the Maxon OD808, and the extra options on the BB swung it for me. I've heard the tubescreamer pull some bass out, and I just can't have that.

For the wah, you guys know I've been looking for a good rack wah for awhile, but since there are really no good options out there, I'm settling. I was going to get either a Fulltone Clyde or a Bad Horsie 2, and the instant-on-instant-off when you apply pressure on the BH2 just cinched it for me, I have to have that pedal.

Do yourself a favor and spend some time fiddling with the trim pot on the circuit board. It controls how quick the cutoff occurs when you remove your foot from the pedal, so it needs to be tweaked to suit your playing style. I tend to do really wide sweeps, so I had to set the delay to over half a second to keep from continually turning it on and off.

I had an AC boost for a while, I liked it a lot better than the BB. All of the XOTIC pedals are great though.
