Pete Thorn's clips sound great, but the 8-string clip sounds like shit, tbh. Sounds very muffled and thin.

However since I've heard amazing shit from the A-FX, from Thorn and others, I would just chalk the 8-string clip as personal preference/dialing it up.

I loved the 8-string clip.

Guys another thing you have to remember is that so much of the tone is coming from the cab as well. Remember the flexibility that this unit was created for i.e i'm not going to get UBER UBER crystal cleans like I would out of an old tweed style amp. Some of the amps sound like ass but I put that down to my cab. I don't like the O.S anyway, I think when I hook up to the Bogner v30's it'll sound so much like an uber. It's already got that low end thump and punchy mid-range and especially that super sensitive presence control.
