Web design copyright?

im not seeing the apple mobile site for whatever reason. But, holy fuck, i never realized how ugly ringo starr was :lol:

I thought something about Gibson's site looked familiar when I was looking at that god awful ash explorer from the other thread.

They're more like becoming Microsoft trying to be Apple, because it all just comes across as absurd and falls flat on its face.

Yeah, it's such an obvious thing to see them going, "hmm, apple has a reputation for being cutting edge and cool, and they're doing really well financially. Let's just rip them off." When in reality they should be looking at businesses with a similar market, such as PRS, Taylor, and others.

Meh As a web designer basically 95% of hte stuff online was done first by somebody else.

Originality on the web isnt rife :lol: Usually the really original stuff is more artsy with lots of mystery meat navigation and doesn't make a really good website (from a usability standpoint)

I just did a site for a client that told me to basically make it look like another site :lol:

I did but I changed just enough to make it different... still if you looked at them side by side you'd facepalm
